Lessons from Greece.

Tuesday, 12 January 2016

Here's an early new year resolution in practice. Yea! I might just be back to blogging more regularly.

More Post Therapy.

More Post Therapy- has a couple of different meanings a.I am back after child birth and baby duty b. I need therapy (be my guest and read into that statement)  c. i missed you all. Ok, back to business. In between baby duty and a couple of fun projects and running my store we took a small vacation to a gorgeous country last year. Greece, would really be more practical if I was a food blogger. Man the food...I could have just eaten all day everyday and not done anything else. However, I was inspired and hence I brought back some lessons.

Imprima

Thursday, 16 July 2015

This project is super dear to me.I had so much fun working on it because of who i was doing it for.

fact file (insert that "khat khat" type writer noise as you read)

  • clients: 2 photographers who also have other professions
  • project:fine art print boutique
  • timeline: few months ( i really mean few)
  • special: i was pregnant through out, so i worked with a lot of pregnant friendly/natural materials (true story) which could be sourced easily
  • budget: affordable ( i know this has different definitions, lets say most of us would agree)
  • background: old house needed a facelift (but long story short - just look at the old pictures)

Fashion Therapy

Thursday, 7 May 2015

I think this is designer week for me, 2 posts concentrating on two of the popular designers of the country from our very own Hyderabad. I had shared some pictures of the studio I had designed for Anushree a while ago; however a post is still pending and Archana had a photoshoot at the store a few weeks ago. I might be a bit partial but these two are talented or what! Definitely on my favorite designers list. Check out these pictures from the shoot at Room Therapy. While you ogle at the clothes, notice how gorgeously the decor goes with the concept.

And for those who have questioned my intentions of speaking my mind on fashion- can't a girl love clothes and interiors?

Beach Cottage

Sunday, 25 May 2014

the last few days have been crazy busy for me...Today, was one of those days where I couldn't get myself out of bed. It is one of those days when a vacation seems to be the most perfect thing to do. The truth is,I really can't afford to go on a vacation now - but this beach cottage tour is just the perfect way to end my Sunday.I bet this cottage is going to be a feast to you're eyes as much as it was to my soul. Super jealous.

This is again a travel log all the way from Jodhpur. The reason I post my travel pictures is mostly because I am inspired by the colours, shapes, designs, textures and these my dear lovelies are the basics of design.

b. amazing visuals- birds, trees, water, landscapes, sunset, .....and more
c. food; it all boils down to that even if you are all about something else
d. all of the above

yup...D it is.

a little bit of Morroco

Monday, 6 January 2014

I am going to sound cliche now, when I say I have been fascinated with Morocco. I fall in love with too many things too easily, and you guys know that. So, the deal breaker is the fact that I love how similar Morocco is to India. Well, so is Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and here and there and that and this- but Morroco is a little special. Don't you think?

for the inside/mind/soul

and now for when we step outside
