Lessons from Greece.

Tuesday, 12 January 2016

Here's an early new year resolution in practice. Yea! I might just be back to blogging more regularly.

More Post Therapy.

More Post Therapy- has a couple of different meanings a.I am back after child birth and baby duty b. I need therapy (be my guest and read into that statement)  c. i missed you all. Ok, back to business. In between baby duty and a couple of fun projects and running my store we took a small vacation to a gorgeous country last year. Greece, would really be more practical if I was a food blogger. Man the food...I could have just eaten all day everyday and not done anything else. However, I was inspired and hence I brought back some lessons.

Imprima

Thursday, 16 July 2015

This project is super dear to me.I had so much fun working on it because of who i was doing it for.

fact file (insert that "khat khat" type writer noise as you read)

  • clients: 2 photographers who also have other professions
  • project:fine art print boutique
  • timeline: few months ( i really mean few)
  • special: i was pregnant through out, so i worked with a lot of pregnant friendly/natural materials (true story) which could be sourced easily
  • budget: affordable ( i know this has different definitions, lets say most of us would agree)
  • background: old house needed a facelift (but long story short - just look at the old pictures)

Room Therapy- THE STOR(e)Y

Sunday, 20 July 2014

I have been slacking with blogging- you won't believe how much. I promise I have a very very valid excuse. You guys won't believe but I do have at least 20 posts that I need to share. Meanwhile here's what I have been up to for the last one and a half years. My dream project, the home decor store that I have put together with all my heart and soul - which is now complete and opened on the 13th of July. For those of you in Hyderabad, please do come. Details at the bottom of this post. In the next few posts, I will be walking you through the process of the construction, the interiors and much more. Stay tuned and talk to me. I want to hear all about what you guys think.

With the attempt to help everybody have a beautiful home I started Room Therapy in a small room called the studio at home and after two long years of hard work, sweat and whatever else it takes I now have a store that was my dream but also a space which is not only an inspiration but a place to just come an experience and feel good. In my next few posts I will be breaking up the store into various elements and walk you through the process of building it. For now- lets look at the whole picture.

I promise I will be back with more this time. Have a great week my lovelies. For those of you in Hyderabad the store is on:

Road No 45, Jubilee Hills
Call us on 9666684066 or 040-64442200 for details and directions.

Grass is Greener....

Thursday, 20 March 2014

grass is pretttteh green on the other side! don't you think?

I have always bumped into fabulous houses in other countries with so much Indian elements in them. Ironic no? I for one- can't takeout the Indian in me when it comes to decor. I think its the colours, the textures, the patterns and the silk and the cotton; that I cannot get out of my head. I love contemporary- of course I do; but I think that its the details that will always matter.

yeah! god is in the DETAIL.

HOUSE TOUR

and this time we spotted interior designer Amber Lewis's house on Cush & Nooks. What can I say? Just pure jealous.

SPACE

Friday, 4 October 2013

It all started with a small idea to showcase what we do at Room Therapy and grew into a concept called SPACE.

Come this Sunday and we will be ready to welcome all Hyderabadi's to a home and garden trunk show. SPACE, is a trunk show which is bringing six different designers from different genre's in the home and garden sector together under one roof. Well ,to be more clear not really under a roof- it is a garden sale.

GARDEN PREP ON!

these two knows what's going on more than the rest of the team ;)
