on a Terrace

Tuesday, 26 August 2014

Here's a small project I had worked on a while ago. A little makeover to a boring terrace. Small additions always make a big difference.

i am going to Ibiza...

Tuesday, 12 August 2014

Do you guys remember that song from the 90's?  Well, this song plays in my head as I ventured into this lovely holiday home in Ibiza.

So the store is all set now and I am officially in charge of making homes pretty. You know somebody once said..HOME is the nicest word there is. Think about it, it really is! What can ever be wrong about the word home?

On that very thought provoking note I bring you this fabulous home in Spain. No, I didn't go there, I wish i did though. Its a home that's so beautiful and even more beautifully captured by the micasa team.

Beach Cottage

Sunday, 25 May 2014

the last few days have been crazy busy for me...Today, was one of those days where I couldn't get myself out of bed. It is one of those days when a vacation seems to be the most perfect thing to do. The truth is,I really can't afford to go on a vacation now - but this beach cottage tour is just the perfect way to end my Sunday.I bet this cottage is going to be a feast to you're eyes as much as it was to my soul. Super jealous.

Room Therapy

Saturday, 24 May 2014

It's been a long year for me. Ever since I started working on this project called "Room Therapy"- life has become a life changing experience. (OK, maybe I am being a bit too dramatic!)

I had started the blog with the intention to understand- what people like in there homes. After a lot of R&D (yeah! i feel really cool to use R&D) we are almost ready to launch our online store and really close to opening our first store here in Hyderabad. For all my lovelies everywhere else - stop by at the website and drop me a line if you have any questions.

I am super kicked- I'm hoping you're equally thrilled too. Here's a tiny peak into the genre we cater to.

Grass is Greener....

Thursday, 20 March 2014

grass is pretttteh green on the other side! don't you think?

I have always bumped into fabulous houses in other countries with so much Indian elements in them. Ironic no? I for one- can't takeout the Indian in me when it comes to decor. I think its the colours, the textures, the patterns and the silk and the cotton; that I cannot get out of my head. I love contemporary- of course I do; but I think that its the details that will always matter.

yeah! god is in the DETAIL.

HOUSE TOUR

and this time we spotted interior designer Amber Lewis's house on Cush & Nooks. What can I say? Just pure jealous.

New York House Tour

Sunday, 9 February 2014

Second house tour in a fortnight .

I love house tours. Especially when the home owner/renter puts in so much effort to do up every nook and corner- just like this one.

My friend had posted a picture of her cousin's blue couch on Instagram. The minute I saw it; I knew we had a future.....YEAH! All the way from New York, moreroomtherapy in association with my friend and her cousin present to you a house with so much soul!

eclectic living room with hand painted art by Nita's mom; awesome blue couch; must say I love the cushions very much too
