Donot want to leave!

Sunday, 28 July 2013

There are some houses you want to live in and some houses you want to visit. This one, I want to never leave. I can't really pin point why, but character building in interiors takes a lot of time, energy and effort. And sometimes after all that character you pump in- you may not even get it right. Not this one though.

Who needs a vase- Thursday (Tea)se

Thursday, 25 July 2013

By now, you guys must have got the hang of what I am trying to do/achieve here. The point is to use the most basic things around us to create beatiful flower arrangements. Today, we are using the most basic tea pots, that we see everyday in India. Its probably available in every household-might have to dig up the attic.

What we used: Aluminium tea kettle, flowers, stand, distressed wood accent- any twigs will do too, cutting tools, water

One a day- WHO NEEDS A VASE?

Monday, 22 July 2013

I have had vitamins that are supposed to be taken once a day and the title for my series of posts for the coming months are inspired by the same.

This month/week is dedicated to making simple flower arrangements using things around the house. You don't always have to use a breathtaking vase to come up with a fancy arrangement. For this week, my mother in law obliged to show us some super easy tricks and put together 7 fabulous pieces. Like I mentioned earlier, she has a super green thumb and I hope something rubs of to me in the coming years.

What we used: Clogs, red and yellow flowers, 2 plastic cups, cutting tools, water

Voila!
